- Panamainfo is the recipient of the AOL Editor's Pick Award for the quality of its design and content. In 2001, Panamainfo won a national award as a top Panamanian information website.
- Panamainfo was called one of the top 10 dot com businesses in the Central American and Caribbean region by Estrategia y Negocios, a regional business magazine, as in an article titled "How to Sell a Country Online".
- In 2003, La Prensa — Panama's largest newspaper called Panamainfo.com "the most visited website about Panama" in a feature article about Panamainfo in its weekly business supplement Martes Financiero.

Our Founder
Nancy Hanna is the founder and president of Panamainfo.com. She is also the founder and president of The Panama Planner, Panama's premier tourism magazine.
Mrs. Hanna was a a member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce from 2006-2001. She is as Chair of the Tourism Committee of the American Chambe of Commerce a position she has held for ten years.
Mrs. Hanna has received awards for her work to promote Panama including an award from the University of Panama as a top woman in tourism and an award for Distinguished Service from the American Chamber of Commerce.
She along with her husband and their seven children are long time residents of Panama.
